I've always played Warband via Steam but it's the first time I download mods from Workshop, since the mod (Warwolf) has to be downloaded from Workshop. I notice when Steam is downloading the mod, it only downloads half of the complete files. I.e., Warwolf is supposed to be around 1 GB, but Steam only download 431 MB. So my steam workshop takes up about 50 gigabytes when I want to play Arma 3 I want to say that the Steam Workshop downloads folder will

Here's a possible fix: I subscribed to about 600 workshop items and I had the same issue. So, I changed my download region and restarted Steam and noticed that Steam was downloading something in the background, thats when I realized that it was my workshop content. I started up my game again and now everything is working fine. I have about 30GB left on my SSD and was using windirstat to see how I could clear some more space and found that arma 3 workshop folder has a massive 30GB of addons is it possible to move this folder to a slave HDD but while keeping arma 3 installed on the SSD

So with the recent British Forces update, I can no longer download any mods from the Steam workshop because for some strange reason the download location changed for the mod files. What I mean by this is that the mods files (.sga files) are usually downloaded to the common/Company of Heroes 2/mods folder but now has changed to /steam/userdata I look at the Steam Workshop as a beginner entry tool. It's easy for first time players to add mods to their game without having to dump the patch files into folders themselves. They don't have to worry about having the latest patch as the workshop will upgrade the game if a new updated version is added.
